Technology: A Luxury for the Poor?
Technology has become an integral part of our lives, but unfortunately, it is still inaccessible to many people living in poverty. Despite the fact that technology can be a powerful tool for improving quality of life, it is often too expensive for those who need it most.
Take Minor-IT, a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing technology access to underserved communities. Minor-IT works with local schools and organizations to provide computers and other technology resources to those who cannot afford them. They also offer free classes on basic computer skills and coding.
Unfortunately, Minor-IT is struggling to keep up with the demand for their services. With limited funding, they are unable to provide the necessary resources to those in need. That’s why we need your help!
If you are able, please consider donating to Minor-IT so they can continue their mission of providing technology access to underserved communities. Your donation will make a difference in someone’s life and help bridge the digital divide.
Thank you for your support!
