Minor-I.T.: Empowering Underprivileged Youth Through Technology
Minor-I.T. is a black-owned non-profit organization that provides I.T. certifications, training, and counseling to underprivileged youth in the community. Founded by tech entrepreneur and philanthropists, Minor-I.T. seeks to bridge the digital divide between those who have access to technology and those who do not.
Through its certification program, Minor-I.T. provides young people with the skills they need to succeed in the tech industry. The program offers courses in coding, web development, and other I.T.-related topics that are taught by experienced professionals in the field. In addition to these courses, Minor-I.T. also provides mentorship opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience with real-world projects and applications of their newfound knowledge.
Minor-I.T.’s counseling services provide an additional layer of support for students as they navigate their way through the tech industry. The organization’s counselors are available to answer questions about job opportunities, career paths, and other resources that can help students reach their goals.
At Minor-I.T., we believe that everyone should have access to technology regardless of their background or financial situation. We strive to create a more equitable future by providing underprivileged youth with the tools they need to succeed in the tech industry and beyond!
